Eradication of Harmful Traditions

The mission has made significant strides in eliminating blind faith, religious fundamentalism, and harmful practices such as dowry, extravagant weddings, and costly funeral rites. Through mass awareness campaigns during large-scale events like Ashwamedha Yagyas, Dipa-Yagyas, and other religious programs, the mission has effectively spread its message. Each year, more than 50,000 ideal marriages are conducted by AWGP without dowry, caste constraints, or expensive celebrations, marking a notable social reform initiative.

Gayatri Pariwar Nepal is actively involved in spreading awareness about harmful traditions that lead to unwanted consequences. By promoting education and understanding, the mission aims to transform societal norms and build a more equitable and just community.
