Women Empowerment

The ascent and empowerment of women from religious and social platforms have been an integral part of the social reconstruction program of Gayatri Pariwar Nepal, initiated by All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP).

Remarkable Initiatives:

Revival of Women’s Glory: The mission has taken significant steps to revive the esteemed status of women from a religious standpoint. In Hindu society, where women were traditionally kept behind veils and were not allowed to chant Vedic mantras, we now witness hundreds of women priests chanting Vedic mantras, conducting various Vedic religious rituals, and guiding thousands of women.

Leadership in Social Reform: Women are not just participants but leaders in many of the mission’s social reformative activities. Groups of women, known as “Brahmavadini Tolis”, travel to different parts of the country to organize special 3-4 day social awareness programs aimed at uplifting women’s conditions.

Promotion of Women’s Education and Cultural Ascent: The mission places a strong emphasis on women’s education and cultural growth, empowering them to play their roles most efficiently and effectively in society.

This holistic approach aims to create an environment where women can thrive and contribute significantly to the social and spiritual fabric of the community.
